Credits FAQ

What are credits?

• Credits are used to generate color themes for an item or plate. Every time you generate one, a credit is consumed.
• Exporting a glamour plate, manually editing an item's colours, or reusing an existing theme on an item does not consume a credit.
• Credits are free. They refresh daily at midnight PST, and they do not stack if they are unused.

Why are there credits?

• Every theme generation is a call to an LLM which costs real money. We use credits to encourage thoughtful theme generation and to avoid blowing up our budget.
• Credits also help discourage spammers and bad actors by being associated with Discord accounts.

Credit limits are subject to change at our discretion. Never purchase credits from anyone, but feel free to generate themes for your friends!
